CSS skateboard decks might get called “blank decks” from time to time, but to be fair, they’re worth every penny. A CSS Logo Complete is possibly one of the best choices for a beginner or newbie to the sport.
For starters, a CSS complete is a complete beginner board but it is more than good enough to start learning on. They’re also extremely affordable skateboards. Because of this, I think it is the best board to learn on.

History of CSS Skateboards
CSS Skateboards was founded by Mike Carroll and Rick Howard in the 1980s. Initially, California Cheap Skates became known as CCS which began selling skateboard gear and apparel by the millions.
In 1991, they sold a 49% stake to World Industries. And then in 1995, it bought out all of its other shareholders and started distributing Girl Skateboards products under license from that firm’s owner Rick McCrank. When World Industries went bankrupt in 2001, it lost the license and all of its brands.
CSS Skateboards had some success under another World Industries subsidiary, Dwindle Distribution, which bought out H-Street in 2002 for $31 million before itself being acquired by Enjoi co-founder Marc Johnson.

Yes, definitely! In fact, I’d say that it’s probably the best skateboard you can get as a beginner.
All of the components of the skateboard are still manufactured at the professional level. However, they are built to be cheap and affordable, making them one of the best professional entry-level skateboards.
This is a great skateboard and if you’re looking for the best skateboards, you won’t be disappointed with it.

The CSS Complete starts at $78.95 on Amazon’s website. However, I’d recommend getting it from the official California Cheap Skates site as they offer free shipping to local addresses and then you’re supporting the brand directly.
On average, be expected to pay around $88.95 to $90 or so for a complete CSS skateboard. However, every penny will be worth it!
