Pleasanton Skatepark – Skateboarding In California

Pleasanton skatepark is a great skatepark suitable for beginners, children, and those looking for more practice. That being said, this park is still one that every skater needs to cross off of their bucket list.
The obstacles in Ken Mercer Sports Park are all approximately 2 to 2.5 ft tall. The skatepark has very little flow and a slow decline around the park’s edge, leading to a safety curb. If you have children or are just learning to skateboard, Pleasanton is the perfect place to spend the day.
Pads are not enforced at Pleasanton. That being said, helmets and pads are still highly recommended.
Not only is there a skatepark at Ken Mercer Sports Park, but there is also tennis courts, a running track, baseball fields, a batting cage, soccer fields, a basketball court, a volleyball sandlot, a playground, and a snack bar. There’s plenty of parking spaces and areas to lock up a bike.
If you need a more advanced and exciting park, there are some other really great skateparks in the area, including Inline Skate Park, Emerald Glen Skatepark, and Livermore Skatepark.
